Tasting Contest

Tasting Contest «Product of the Year 2009» is held by the Central Tasting Commission of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RF within the 18th International Exhibition of Food Products and Drinks «World Food Moscow».

Dates: 14-18 September 2009

The Contest is organised to identify and promote high-quality food products in the Russian market.

Nominations:

Wine, liquor, beer and soft drinks
Confectionary products
Oil and fat products
Dairy products
Meat products
Products of fruit and vegetable processing, nuts and cereals, beekeeping products
Fish products and seafood
Bread, bakery products, macaroni, flour, cereal
Tea, coffee, spices, food concentrates.

Participation Terms:

1. The Contest can be attended by both exhibitors of World Food Moscow and non-exhibitors.

2. To participate in the Contest, it is necessary to fill in a standard application form and send it to the Organiser with the bank details of the company. Pay an invoice. Applications are accepted from 11 May to 1 September 2009.

3. To carry out organoleptic evaluation, participants of the contest shall present a certain number of product samples to branch tasting commissions.

4. Product samples shall be accompanied by a list of mandatory documents.

5. Product samples are to be presented to the Contest by a company's representative personally in accordance with the time schedule of tasting commission work.

Summarizing the Results and Awards

Winners of the Contest will be awarded with Grand Prix, golden, silver and bronze medals and Diplomas on the basis of protocols of branch tasting commissions.

Winners will get the right to place medals' logos on labels of products awarded at the Contest.

Guests and exhibitors, mass media representatives and member of branch commissions will be invited to the official awarding ceremony.

Information about winners of the Contest is placed at the Website of the exhibition.

The Organising Committee distributes press releases on the results of the Contest among trade mass media, associations and unions.
