Consumption of cheese and cottage cheese in Russia in 2009 increased compared to the previous year by 3%
Cheese and curd from 2009 to 1 st quarter of 2010 showed growth both in kind and in value terms. The increase in production was, inter alia, linked with a shift in consumer preferences: reduced consumption of meat products and the reorientation of demand towards the dairy.
