In Russia abolished the compulsory certification of products and cosmetics

Starting today in Russia abolished the mandatory certification of products, cosmetics and cookware. Now manufacturers can display their products on store shelves on the basis of his own declaration form.

No mandatory certification in retail sales will now enter the meat and fish, flour and bread, water and wine, sugar, jam, canned and frozen vegetables, as well as cosmetics and cookware items.

As noted, this measure is aimed at "removal of administrative barriers for manufacturers.
Until now, major companies producing more than a hundred food items, a year spent about 100 thousand dollars for mandatory product certification.

However, experts believe that the abolition of compulsory certification though, and simplify the work of producers, but will reduce the quality of consumer goods sold in Russia.

Recall, according to statistics Rospotrebnadzor, about 50% of the goods, even in the certification of the goods, does not meet the standards of quality. The degree of liability of manufacturers and merchants in Russia for the defective goods, as well as fines for violations are very low.
