142 awards given on the contest "Product of the Year" in 2009
	Annually increasing number of members of professional tasting contest "Product of the Year". Verify the quality of the products of the independent assessment by the Central Tasting Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In 2009, there had been 340 applications in 9 nominations: wine, liquors and beer, soft drinks, confectionery, dairy products, meat products, processed products of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, bee products, fish products and seafood, bread, bakery and pasta, flour, cereals, tea, coffee, spices, food concentrates, oil and fat products. Following the tasting contest in 2009 was awarded 9 Grand Prix, 51 gold medals, 46 silver and 36 bronze medals. Reception of applications for participation in the tasting contest "Product of the Year 2010" will begin in May.
