The 20th World Food Moscow exhibition took place on 13-16 September 2011 in Moscow’s Expocentre.

The awards ceremony of the Product of the Year 2011 tasting contest took place on 16 September 2011.

This year’s World Food Moscow welcomed a host of new national exhibitor groups who all looked to the exhibition to expand their business interests and exports to the world’s largest country.

First Day

Based on the results of voting by visitors on the World Food Moscow website, the Best New Product of 2011 was awarded to Cheese Dziugas (Bronze, Silver and Gold) from Zemaitijos Pienas (Lithuania).

World Food Moscow 2011, the 20th Anniversary International Food and Drinks Exhibition, opened on Tuesday, 13 September.

Today, 12 September, is the third set up day of World Food Moscow 2011. This year, the exhibition marks its twentieth anniversary.

Tony Higginson, Head of Sales, ITE Group Food Division, announced that once again, World Food Moscow has attracted an overwhelming number of exhibitors resulting in a 10% growth on last year’s event.
